The Great Big Challah Bake

7-9 PM

Columbus Torah Academy, 181 Noe Bixby Road, Columbus, OH 43213

Feeling the dough between your fingers as you knead it just so. Seeing how it rises, takes a form, takes a shape (of sorts). Hearing the blessing spoken, so loud and so clear. Smelling the scent that beckons in Shabbat and embraces us whole. Tasting the bread of our people, our nation, our day. And smiling because you know the whole world is in it together.

Stop doing and start being.

The Great Big Challah Bake will take place at Columbus Torah Academy on Thursday, October 25, 2018, from 7-9 PM. Doors open at 6:30 PM. The entertainment will be provided by Eve Levy from Portland, Oregon. Click here for her bio. This event is open to the entire community. Children 12 and over are welcome to participate. All the details for this year’s event can be found at the event registration site: https://shabbatproject614.brownpapertickets.com.
